Minecraft Pocket Edition Tips #1: Battling Mobs
CREEPERS: If creepers are on slabs, they'll only blow up the blocks around them, so you'll be fine if you're two blocks away from them. Also, if you're lucky enough to get five blocks away from them before they explode, they won't.
ZOMBIES: Okay, I admit I wasn't a very smart person fighting these, but I thought one arrow with Instant Damage II would be enough to wreck these guys. Turns out I was wrong. Instead, use arrows with Instant Healing II. Remember Splash Potions of Harming on them? REVERSE EFFECT. Why not the same for arrows? So yeah. Now they die with one shot. Of course, a wooden sword can do them in with a paltry five strikes if they're not wearing armor. But you need finesse. So strike from the shadows(where hostile mobs usually spawn). Rename your bow Arrows of Death or SniperShotX2000.
