Minecraft Stories #9: Giant Wither Boss Brawl Battle, Part 8
The first thing I said when we hit the ground in the End was, "Duck!" We did duck. And with good reason.
A sizable hole in the ceiling opened, courtesy of a blue Wither skull. A Deadly Dude pulled out an enchanted diamond pickaxe. He mined the wall of End Stone that encased us in a box, creating stairs to the field of possible battle.
Not just with the Wither, but... the legendary ENDER DRAGON, which drops a bunch of XP when you wreck it. Also an impressive light show, where it's corpse rises into the air and explodes with lots of flashy rays. I'll congratulate Notch on how he managed to code that.
Anyway, we strode up the stairs, each of us holding an enchanted diamond sword. The Wither and the Ender Dragon were already clashing with each other.
A Deadly Dude ran over to the spot directly under them and shot arrows of Instant Damage II from a glimmering bow, probably enchanted with Infinity I.
"Hey, Wither! This is the day you get wrecked by Mark Chen! Also, lay off attacking that Ender Dragon, all that 12,000 XP is ours!"
The Wither turned on... uh, Mark, I guess. Another Deadly Dude ran up and shot the Wither in the behind. I think it fractured, cause the Wither bent in pain and looked like it rubbed it's aching B-U-T-T.
"Maybe after you give us that 50 XP, we'll stop bringing pain to your fat heinie!"
"Fred, we have to kill this thing before we can get the 50 XP, Nether Star, and ultimate bragging rights."
"Oh. Got it, little bro."
The 9 Deadly Dudes and me shot flaming arrows at the Wither...
WAIT, WHAT THE ZOMBIE PIGMAN!!! THE WITHER IS SUMMONING... MORE WITHERS???
Okay, this battle was not going our way. We were supposed to take care of one Wither and an Ender Dragon, but now we were facing a whole legion of Withers.
Hey, is that a Wither negotiating with the ENDER DRAGON? We're so dead. If I could figure out how to use cheats, then I'd just use /kill @e. Except we'd get killed too. Uh oh. The Ender Dragon joined the ranks of Withers.
And I think this is gonna be the end of my life.
